Dear colleague, Since debuting in 2020, PRX Quantum has consolidated its mission of publishing papers of lasting and profound impact. Below, find some of our noteworthy papers along with an update on the journal's exciting growth over the past three years with a look to the future. Growing the Editorial Team After an extensive search, we've recently added outstanding new researchers to the journal's Editorial Team. We are very proud to add Associate Editors Dr. Alejandro Gonzalez-Tudela, Dr. Gabriel T. Landi, Dr. Guglielmo Mazzola, and Dr. Sara Mouradian to our diverse group of editors. Stay tuned for an upcoming announcement regarding a new full-time Associate Editor and several new additions to the Editorial Board. | Editorial Board Member Spotlight: | The American Physical Society (APS) has awarded Nathalie de Leon the 2023 Rolf Landauer and Charles H. Bennett Award in Quantum Computing The award recognizes de Leon's contributions to experimental quantum information science, especially in "materials discovery and enhancement." The citation emphasized her work turning fundamental discoveries in solid-state physics into technologies for quantum computing, sensing and networking. None of this would be possible without the hard work of our referees, and we are grateful to them for their detailed reports and advice. | Special Publications Continue to Grow We received a strong amount of positive feedback regarding our Perspectives, Tutorials and Roadmaps. So far, we have published 14 Perspectives, 15 Tutorials, and 5 Roadmaps. While the editorial process involved in publishing them is very intense, we feel they serve the purpose of increasing the community's knowledge of different research areas. Several of our special publications are listed below along with a few highlighted research articles. With the journal being open access, all papers are free to read and download. | Press Coverage (2023) Landauer Versus Nernst: What is the True Cost of Cooling a Quantum System?
