Highly Efficient Single-Exciton Strong Coupling with Plasmons by Lowering Critical Interaction Strength at an Exceptional Point
Wei Li, Renming Liu, Junyu Li, Jie Zhong, Yu-Wei Lu, Huanjun Chen, and Xue-Hua Wang
Phys. Rev. Lett. 130, 143601 (2023) – Published 5 April 2023

A strategy for achieving the plasmon-single exciton strong coupling by simultaneously lowering the plasmonic decay and critical interaction strength at an exceptional point of a coupled system largely relaxes the severe requirements of realizing the single exciton strong coupling for both the ultrasmall mode volume and direction aligning of emitter's dipole moment with the mode field.
